Excel Review Center formally opened its 5-storey building with no less than the Mayor of the City of Cebu, Hon. Michael L. Rama cutting the ceremonial ribbon on July 18, 2010. Mayor Mike Rama was assisted Miss Cebu 2010 Finalist, Ms. Carole Monique "Blinky" De Leon.

The blessing of the building was officiated by Rev. Arnel Sipat. The University of the Visayas Dance Troupe and Drum and Bugle Corps performed a Sinulog Dance from the basement of the building to the its roof deck to honor the beloved Sto. Nino de Cebu.

Mayor Rama delivered an inspirational speech during the inauguration program while Excel Review Center's President, Engr. Jaime R. Tiong focus on his message in expressing his most sincere thanks to the dedicated and loyal reviewers and staff of Excel Review Center at the same time informed the guests on Excel's humble begin and how it envisioned to own a building 20 years ago. "This is truly a time to celebrate the because the groundwork that was laid has now become the landmark of all our hardwork and endeavors. This building is our legacy to the next generation" Engr. Tiong said. Engr. Jaime C. Tiong Jr. ends the program with his closing remarks.

The inauguration was attended by the UV President and House Representative Hon. Eduardo R. Gullas, guests from both the academe and industry, friends, family and relatives and Excel Cebu reviewees.
