Excel Review Center was granted a Permit to Operate a Review Center by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) on March 10, 2008.

CHED Permit No. 25 Series of 2008 for Excel Review Center provides an assurance to all Excel reviewees of the continuous operation even beyond May 27, 2008, which is the deadline set by CHED for all existing review centers to apply for permit to operate a review center.

Review centers without the required CHED permit on May 27, 2008 will be deemed to be operating illegally by virtue of the Executive Order 566.

Excel Review Center is the only engineering review center, so far, to have complied and granted a permit to operate a review center.
